Unexpected- Chapter 18 by ~goodday2091:icongoodday2091:

Isabella starred at herself in the mirror in the bridal room of the Church. Her hair was piled in curls around her head, the veil pinned in place underneath.
Off to the side, Ashley, Rachel, Monica, and Katherine all giggled and whispered as they slipped into their bright yellow bridesmaid dresses. The flowers were all in a vase to the side, tied together with yellow ribbons.
With a sigh, Isabella realized that this was really it. Her wedding day had arrived, and she wasn’t the least bit nervous. All she wanted now was to start her life with Aiden.
“Are you ready?” her father asked, coming into the room with her mother. “It’s almost time!”
Isabella turned and smiled at her parents. “I’m ready.” she said.
Lucy quickly stepped forward and hugged Isabella tightly. “Relax, honey.” she whispered in her ear. “I love you.”
Isabella took a deep breath, willing herself to gain composure. “I love you too, Mom.” she whispered back.
The music suddenly drifted to a new tune. “I have to get to my seat.” Lucy said, kissing Isabella’s forehead before exiting the room to take her seat in the Church.
Ashley came up beside Isabella holding two bouquets of flowers. “It’s time!” she said, smiling at Isabella.
Taking a deep breath, Isabella took the larger bouquet from her maid of honor and turned to each of her bridesmaids. “Thank you girls,” she said, giving each of them a hug.
Each returned the quick hug before exiting the room to line up at the doors to the Church where they were met by Bryce, Frank, Aiden’s cousin Alex, and David. When the music started, they began their procession, and Isabella took her fathers arm and exited the bridal room.

Aiden tugged on the sleeves of his tux, and took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart.
“Nervous?” David asked, a smile spreading across his face.
“Excited.” Aiden corrected, returning the smile. “Trust me, there is nothing that I want more in the this world right now.”
“Good,” said Frank from the door. “Because it’s time we get down there.”
Aiden took another deep breath before exiting the room and walking down the aisle to take his place at the alter where he would wait for the love of his life.

As the bridesmaids walked down the isle, Isabella and Aiden watched, both looking forward to the minute that they would walk up the isle arm in arm as husband and wife. As soon as Ashley took her place as the maid of honor, the music flowed into Wagner’s traditional march. Isabella and her father began the slow procession to the alter, and Isabella’s nerves quickly became anticipation.
Looking ahead, she saw only Aiden; the huge grin that was spread across his face, the dimples in his cheeks, and the way the light hit his eyes, making them sparkle.
After what seemed like an eternity, they reached Aiden at the alter. Her father embraced her one more time before turning to Aiden.
“Take care of her.” he said, placing Isabella’s hand in his.
Aiden grasped hers firmly, and looked Lucas Greene right in the eye, “Until the end of time.” he whispered.
They exchanged the traditional vows, and each had to swallow and blink back tears to say the binding words.
“By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife.” the minister said as he shut his book. “You may kiss the bride.”
Aiden and Isabella each took a step toward the other, and Aiden wound his arms around her waist as Isabella threw hers around his neck. With their eyes as bright as stars, they bound themselves to the other with more passion than any could have imagined possible.

You're a falling star
You're the get away car
You're the line in the sand, when I go to far.
You're a swimming pool on an August day,
And you're the perfect thing to say
