Unexpected- Chapter 10They caught a cab and after giving the driver his address, Aiden turned to Isabella. “It’s not far.” Isabella smiled at him, hoping to convey that she didn’t mind spending time with him. They were soon in front of a large brick house in the middle of the suburbs. Aiden paid the cabbie and the two stepped into the street. Isabella walked around the cab and took the hand that Aiden offered. Together, they ascended the front steps and Aiden quickly pulled his keys from his pocket. Unexpected- Chapter 9It was seven thirty on Thursday evening when Isabella sighed and fell back on her bed in exasperation. She had been through her closet multiple times and was still wearing her bathrobe. Taking a deep breath, Isabella returned to her closet, telling herself that she would pick an outfit this time. As she looked through her closet for the fourth time, Isabella spotted her favorite sun dress and smiled. She pulled it from her closet and held it at arms length, making sure it was free of any stains and sighed. Unexpected- Chapter 8Ashley’s voice broke through the long silence, causing Isabella to jump. “He’s real?! Oh my gosh!” Isabella had dropped the bomb shell as soon as her friend had answered the phone. After revealing that she had unintentionally written a biography, her friend had stayed silent for so long that Isabella thought they had been disconnected. “How did you find out? Have you met him?” Ashley asked in a rush. Isabella sighed. “My editor, Samantha, asked us both to meet her at Pizarros and introduced us. Unexpected- Chapter 7After introducing her to Aiden, Samantha said a quick goodbye. Isabella whished she had stayed rather than leaving her in a café with a stranger. But Aiden was charming. He asked about different books that Isabella had written and told about some of his own inspirations. Aiden asked about her family, and Isabella gave a quick overview of her parents before quickly changing the subject to other hobbies. The last thing she wanted to tell him was that they were in a fight.Unexpected- Chapter 7
She learned that he enjoyed golfing, and was always ready with a pen and paper when ideas came to him for new stories. Isabella smile
